WE SAY IT ALL.THE.TIME. SIT DOWN...ON YOUR BOTTOM...DON'T LEAN OVER THE TABLE. WELL...yesterday, Peityn fell...while leaning over the table to clean up a puzzle so they could eat lunch. Her chin was split open and off Troy went to CareNow. I was working...alone. Called mother to get someone to help with kids in the waiting room. Called co-workers until someone finally answered and came to my rescue. Got to CareNow in time for the doctor...
This is right before they gave her 2 shots to deaden her up....and then 4 stitches. She got bragged about because she "is tough" and "did better than most adults". That came from the medical staff...we thought she did great too!
This is after the "surgery"...notice the new tshirt...we saw it at target and thought it was well deserved!
Today we went back for a follow up and she got to watch ELF while we waited.
DR says it looks good...back tomorrow for a tetanus shot :( and Sunday to remove stitches...
AND THE LESSON LEARNED - DON'T TRY TO CLEAN UP!
